AKB has been making music and DJing in various guises for over a decade now but this is his first vinyl release. After establishing himself on the Cornish party scene, he started a regular club night called THE ARK which gained a reputation for promoting a more diverse and original range of dance music and abstract visuals.

Since moving to London he has concentrated on his production skills, undertaking several commissions -including an audio branding for Channel 4 and a series of shorts for Virgin Airlines- and working mainly on experimental material with the Pyramids Of Space collective.

He rates producers like Bill Laswell and Jimmy Jam and artists ranging from Miles Davis, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Kraftwerk and Juan Atkins. Within his sound, elements of Electro, Funk, Soul and Detroit Techno can be heard, combined with quirky noises from old computer games and music that sounds like science fiction soundtracks...
